August 17 Tenth Sunday after Pentecost

 **If you are participating in the procession you will need to park at the main church on White Pine and take the 1st shuttle to Old Town at 11:15 am in order to make it to rehearsal by 11:30.

Mass at 12:30 at Old Town

Rehearsal at 11:30 in the rectory apartment. Come through to the kitchen and go through the door on the far left as you are facing the kitchen.

You may want to print out the Ordinaries rather than carry books and binders. I will bring copies for everyone of all the Marian hymns.

Rehearsal at 11:30 in the parish hall or Rachel's apartment. I will reserve a section in the balcony for the Schola.

August 3 Eighth Sunday after Pentecost

Change of plans for cantoring. Father Dass will likely attend this Mass and I'd like for him to get a feel for what we do normally as a choir.

When Mass is at 3 pm in the main church plan on the schola having rehearsal at 2. When Mass is at 5:30 pm we will have a single cantor unless otherwise communicated. Our first two masses at Old Town will be at 12:30pm (August 10 & 17) and we will plan on having the schola sing at both with rehearsal in the Old Town parish hall or Rachel's apartment at 11:30 am. I will keep you all posted as the schedule develops but we will need to be patient and flexible as Father finds his footing in his new position at the Cathedral.

Ad libitum: I think we will have Cor Jesu Caritatis Victima ready for this week. We will begin looking at a new piece as well--Locus iste. Here is a link to the pdf and a link to the rehearsal videos for each part. This is a beautiful piece which will take several weeks but would be appropriate to sing on or near the feast celebrating the dedication of a church. For Saint Mary's that falls on August 15th but we will look to singing on August 17th if it is ready.
