Continue to look at Gustate et Videte. Without our lead soprano we will likely not sing a motet on Sunday.

Things to consider coming up: August 15 is a holy day of obligation. Latin Mass will be held at noon on that day in the main church. It will be a cantored Mass but all are welcome to join in the ordinaries: Mass IX Cum Jubilo (see link in top menu bar).

The annual Marian Procession will begin with a Latin Mass at Old Town beginning at 12:30 pm. Seats in the choir loft will be reserved for the choir and we should be able to have a rehearsal in the apartment prior to Mass. We will review some of our Marian hymns in the coming weeks in preparation for this very popular event in our parish.

August is dedicated to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Please enjoy this article regarding lovely devotion.
